Medulin and Cape of Kamenjak

Medulin is located in the south of Istria, the largest Croatian peninsula. What once used to be a quiet fishing town, nowadays is slowly but surely turning into an attractive tourist destination.

It has rich accomodation capacity: there are even 5 hotels (Arcus, Holiday, Belvedere, Koral), one of which is a 4 star hotel (Hotel Medulin), 2 Campsites (Medulin and Kažela), numerous villas, and private accommodation, either apartments close the sea or up on the hill near the church with a beautiful view of the sea, of the islands (Levan, Bodulaš, Ceja) and of the surrounding villages Pomer and Premantura. In Medulin everyone can find something for yourself; enjoy the day by the sea at various beaches or let yourself loose with a dynamic and eventful night life in one of the beach bars, the bars along the promenade or in the nightclub.

Inevitable parts of Medulin: Park Kašteja forest, situated on the peninsula of Kašteja, archaeological site on the peninsula Vižula and the vicinity of the Nature Park Kamenjak.

On the end of peninsula of Premantura is the southernmost point of Istria. In 1996 it has been declairt as the park of nature. What seems to be a deserted landscape, actually hides a lot of natural beauties.
